Christian Dior Boutique S/S 1968 'Byzantine' collection by Marc Bohan.  Bishop sleeves and a deep gathered neck. Tangerine orange polyester chiffon with argyle gold lamé embroidery at the cuffs and below the bust line to the waist. The body of the gown is fully lined, the sleeves are unlined. Hidden back zipper. Good vintage condition with some minor flaws to note. A few small pinholes in the chiffon, a few light spots on the back near the zipper (4th photo), and faint dark spotting near the back bottom hem (5th photo). This gown is so spectacular that we still feel compelled to share!
